Event Overview
Get ready to light up the night for charity! This exciting 5K Run or Walk is being organized nationally by @runbts_5k, with local hosting duties handled by @sarangheyjax. This is a special opportunity for local fans to gather and complete the 5K route together as the sun sets.
We will be walking locally along with fellow ARMY participating in three different states! While the 5K can be completed anytime, this specific gathering is for those who wish to share the experience with other fans.
The core concept is simple: Bring your official ARMY Bomb (or any other K-Pop lightstick) to help illuminate the path as we run or walk! You are also welcome to come and cheer on the runners and walkers if you do not wish to participate in the 5K itself.
Local Event Timeline
The local gathering is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025. We encourage all participants to arrive early to meet up and prepare near the River Walk.
The schedule for the local event is as follows:
- Meet Up begins at 5:00 pm.
- Stretch and Warm Up session runs from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm.
- The 5K Run or Walk officially starts at 6:00 pm, coinciding with the sunset.
Registration and Medals
Medals are available for participants who register through the main “ARMY Bomb Run” link. Please check availability before registering. Note the following important registration details regarding medal fulfillment:
- New Registrants: Due to the bulk medal order having already shipped, new registrants must choose the “Virtual Event” option when signing up. Your event packet and medal will be mailed directly to you.
- Existing Registrants (Florida Event): If you previously registered and selected the “FLORIDA EVENT” option on the form, your medal will be shipped directly to the local host and will be available for you at the event.
A dedicated group chat has been established for all registered attendees. If you have registered but have not yet been added to the chat and wish to join, please send a direct message to the local host (@sarangheyjax) for inclusion.
